Every law starts as a legislative initiative. Members of Parliament, the President, the Government and the People's Assembly of Gagauzia may table one, and each registered bill gets a number and a public record on Parliament's website.

Committees and opinions

The bill goes to the relevant standing committee, which gathers opinions from the Government and the legal department and then drafts a report recommending approval, amendment or rejection.

Each stage leaves a public trail — transcripts, committee reports, vote results. Following them is the surest way for citizens and companies to anticipate changes that affect them.
