What we process and why
Reading the site: we use no advertising cookies. Traffic statistics use an anonymous identifier recalculated daily; IP addresses are not stored.
User or organisation account: email address and name, for sign-in and account management; for organisations, organisation details and published material.
Newsletter: email address, language and chosen topics, confirmed by email (double opt-in). Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
Push notifications: the browser's technical subscription identifier and chosen topics, only if you enable them.
Contact form: name, email and message, to reply to you.
Questions to the AI assistant about an article: the question text, to generate the answer. Do not include personal data in questions.
Providers
We use providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, authentication and storage), OpenAI (AI features), ElevenLabs (audio; receives article text only) and Resend (email delivery). Some providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova under their contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose: the account until it is deleted; the subscription until you unsubscribe; messages as long as needed to reply.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. From your account you can export your data and delete the account. You may lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova.
