SI Lab, the AI lab of BLACK&, prepares to enter the Chișinău market

Super Intelligence Lab (SI Lab), presented by BLACK& as its technology arm, is developing six products of its own and offers artificial intelligence services to companies and institutions. The initiative brings together teams in Bucharest and Chișinău, according to a company press release dated 15 September 2026.

The company says it is preparing to enter the Chișinău market in the coming period with its products and services for companies and institutions. The timeline and first clients have not been made public.

The offering covers accounting and e-invoicing, preparation of security documentation, clinical documentation, export information, call handling and connecting AI assistants to organisations’ systems. Alongside these products, SI Lab offers bespoke projects: AI strategy, custom agents, process automation, software integration and team training.

From AI tool to working process

BLACK& frames the initiative around the gap between trying out AI tools and using them in day-to-day work. The company says SI Lab starts from an operational need, builds a verifiable system and monitors how it performs after deployment.

This positioning requires more than generating an answer in a chat. A system used for invoices, documents or customer relations has to be connected to the organisation’s information, respect access rights and allow errors to be identified and corrected. Its value can be measured through results such as time saved, document quality and how often people need to step in.

The press release does not present such measurements for the SI Lab portfolio. It describes the development direction and intended functions, without adoption metrics or case studies that would allow its commercial impact to be assessed.

What the lab is building

The version of the press release consulted lists six products, described as being at MVP stage — early versions intended for testing and validation. The functions below are those stated by the company.

• Facto — an AI workspace for accounting and e-invoicing workflows.

• Provia — preparing security evidence documents and answers to security questionnaires.

• Anamna — support for clinical documentation, with notes reviewed, edited and approved by medical staff. The company states that the product does not make diagnoses or recommend treatments.

• Conforma — preparing product information and multilingual labels for food and consumer-goods exporters.

• Voice by SI Lab — handling calls in Romanian, Russian and English, with transcripts, summaries and flagging of conversations that need human attention.

• MCP by SI Lab — connecting AI assistants to internal systems, with permissions, approval mechanisms, personal-data masking and operation logging.

The portfolio combines applications for specific tasks with tools that can support several processes. Facto and Anamna target well-defined professional workflows; Voice handles phone interactions, while MCP controls AI agents’ access to an organisation’s tools.

Human oversight and data protection: what the company states

SI Lab presents its offering through a few shared principles: human oversight, limited access, traceability of operations and data protection. The company says it designs its systems with the GDPR, the AI Act and local legislation in mind.

How these principles apply depends on the product and on how it is deployed. For MCP, the public page describes approvals for write requests and sensitive actions. For a voice assistant, automatically answering a call and carrying out an operation in the client’s system are different actions that require separate rules.

This article does not technically verify these mechanisms and does not establish the products’ legal compliance. An organisation considering deployment should look at the actual data flows, access rights, suppliers involved, contractual responsibilities and the results of relevant tests.

Where SI Lab fits within BLACK&

BLACK& presents itself as an organisation that develops technologies and builds companies. In the launch press release, SI Lab is described as its technology structure, responsible for AI products, services, shared infrastructure and applied research.

This is the organisational relationship stated publicly. Presenting a lab as part of a brand’s portfolio does not replace identifying the legal entity that signs a contract or is responsible for processing data.

The name “Super Intelligence Lab” is a brand name. The company states that it does not claim its products possess artificial superintelligence.

To assess how SI Lab develops, the next relevant milestones are documented deployments: which processes are taken over, which results are measured and how errors are handled. Such evidence would allow the announced functions to be compared with how the systems perform in use.
